Kåseberga

About the film
Kåseberga is a small fishing town in southeast Sweden. Throughout the times fishing have been the tradition and the go-to-thing for everyone living in the village. But times and generations change, move on. Our documentary doesn’t mainly strive to show Kåseberga for the small village it is, but more of the people living in the small town – how a normal day might look like.

More information
We shot the film for a documentary project at Skurups Folkhögskola, but due to both project and running time restrictions we decided to turn the film into a pilot for an upcoming longer version, as this one just about scratches the surface on what we wanted to tell with the film. We shot the film over a six-day period and gathered a whole bunch of material, some of which will feature more prominently in the full-length documentary which is set to debut some time in the future.
