Hey everyone! I’ve been full at work the last couple of days tweaking parts of the website for the release of our documentary, titled Kåseberga and it’s now up for everyone to see! The documentary pilot we shot for a school project has evolved into something bigger – due to time constraints both project-wise and in terms of running length, we decided to use this short documentary as a springboard for a future documentary project. This is a pilot for the entire project which we’ll be continuing to work on in the upcoming summer and autumn. We barely scratched the surface of what we wanted to, and could have been able to, achieve with our 10-minute documentary. Check out the documentary on the film’s page or by clicking the big banner on the front page of the website (took some time to code!). Here’s the official synopsis for the film:
Kåseberga is a small fishing town in southeast Sweden. Throughout the times fishing have been the tradition and the go-to-thing for everyone living in the village. But times and generations change, move on. Our documentary doesn’t mainly strive to show Kåseberga for the small village it is, but more of the people living in the small town – how a normal day might look like.
Shot with the Panasonic HMC-151 and two Canon 7Ds as well as a whole bunch of lenses, microphones (wired and wireless), this is the latest short project by Redhawk Productions.
Working on a subtitled version of the film which should be up shortly. Right now it’s available in Swedish w/o subtitles. Hope you enjoy it! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment on the film’s page.
Take care everyone!
