Currently we’re full at work on the Harry Spexter DVD which should be done shortly, while starting pre-production seriously on a documentary project I’ll be directing two weeks from now on a small country town here in Sweden. Very interesting, as it’s the first documentary project I’ve ever made (not including some small travel diaries) and a big challenge. Spending the day on the phone and calling around people for the project. Me and my small team are also going down to the location this upcoming Monday to check it out, get inspiration and hopefully get an idea to see what will and won’t work.
Doing some reading up on the GoPro HD cameras – I know a friend who has access to one of them and I think it may be put to some use during the upcoming shoot, maybe as a hidden camera!
Work also continues on the Harry Spexter DVD – it’s been a while, but there’s also been a big bunch of projects, both in school and for the company which has required my time. But don’t fear, it’ll be quite awesome, and be released relatively shortly.
As it stands right now though, the main focus is on our documentary project which really is my next film project, and I’m really gearing up mentally for the shoot – which will be very different from what I’m used to.
Exciting times ahead! Planning to hopefully be able to write something every day during the documentary shoot and possibly post some pictures as well from the shoot.
More info coming soon! Take care everyone!
