Exposed
Hot on the heels of SpexArn, pre-production has just begun on the new film from Redhawk Productions, Exposed. The first original film since Campsite, Exposed heads into a brand new type of film for the filmmaking company.
I have been working on this film for quite some time, around since SpexArn was first screened in December. The story and screenplay is rapidly approaching completion, and it’s been a fun experience to write my first film all in Swedish, while adjusting to a genre I basically have little or no experience with. Exposed is first and foremost a romantic mystery drama about a photographer, his friends, and his approach to the medium. After recently getting more and more of an interest in urban exploration – exploring abandoned areas to get good photographs, our photographer always strives for new challenges. But during just another photography tour, he uncovers a mystery that will change both him and the people around him…
The story is subject to change, I’ll just say that up front – I can’t wait to go into production on this film though, as it’s been a long time coming! Will start the casting process relatively soon – also trying to make this production much more open (or exposed, if you will) for you here on this website. While both Campsite and to some part SpexArn was a more closed and secretive production, I’ll try to gather some more behind-the-scenes stuff for you to see this time around. The film will also be much more of a collaborative effort, where everyone involved in the production have their say in how the film play out. Most of the crew, and probably some of the cast, from both Campsite and SpexArn will be back for this project, which is set to be my longest film so far in terms of shooting time. The film isn’t really focused on visual effects, so it shouldn’t be a year until you see it
As it is right now, the film is set to start shooting late April/early May of this year, with a late summer premiere. While that is all I can tell you at the moment, check back in a few days for more…
Also, will be setting up a Facebook page for people who are interested in contributing to the production in any way, either in front of or behind the camera, but it’ll be a few days!
Can’t wait to start production on the film, it’s going to be loads of fun!
Speak much more very very soon! Take care everyone!
