After having worked on the SpexArn DVD and Blu-Ray for quite a while now it’s rapidly approaching completion. Should be done in about one or two weeks, after which it will be released for sale. Still have no updates concerning the internet release date, which should follow shortly after the film is available, including loads of special features. Only thing left to do now is mix the audio commentaries and just lay the final touches of some menus and transitions (posted a small teaser video on Facebook the other day).

But, with this production soon coming to a close I’m already in full pre-production mode of my next film project. The entire story is pretty much outlined, and the script is on its way to a first draft. Can’t wait to properly start with casting, location scouting and much more very, very soon. While the film does have a working title at the moment, I thought I’d finish work on SpexArn before creating the new film’s website page. That’s all for now, I’m currently pretty much snowed in at the countryside, but as you can see on the picture, the weather is pretty damn fine. Which reminds me I should get working on implementing frejoni into the gallery section of the website soon. Better talk to Johannes about that.

EDIT: Just realised Vimeo now accepts 1080p videos - you can expect SpexArn when it premieres to be in that quality! Will of course get around to reconverting old films as well.

EDIT 2: Just posted Västra Hamnen - my Redrock M2 Encore test film shot about a month back, in 1080p! Embedded the video below, check it out, preferably in fullscreen. Looks good (my logo is a bit dodgy though, will have to get that working for SpexArn’s upload). Make sure you watch it with HD set to the “on” setting. Oh, and it’s already February. Madness.
