I seriously can’t wait. Just a few more days, then school is all over and done with for this term. While this third and final year so far has been less stressful than my second year’s studies, it’s been a busy couple of months. Loads of film projects have taken up a lot of my spare time, and it’s going to be fun to take a break from it all during the upcoming holiday.

Yesterday marked the last quite stressful couple of weekends on which I’ve been filming. I’ve shot a total of 23 tapes the last 5 weeks: everything from the live Spex and the City show last Friday to a bunch of music videos, as well as a few test films for stuff I want to do after finishing Campsite. So I have some major post-production work ahead of me. Will try to edit what me and Johannes shot during the live Spex and the City performance last Friday. A total of 3 cameras were used to cover the event, and it’s interesting to use Final Cut Pro’s nifty multicam tool to put all angles together. Also shot some behind-the-scenes stuff from that same evening, so will need to edit that together as well. My goal is to try and finish the DVD for the whole event, including the film I made earlier this year for it, sometime around Christmas. After the DVD is done it’s off to be copied, distributed and eventually sold at school early 2009. But work doesn’t finish around Christmas for me, as I have another goal. I’m hoping to be able to produce a first real edit of Campsite, which wrapped a few weeks ago. Should be fun, and it’s going to be quite interesting to see how long the first cut will be.

School is quite calm right now – no lessons today, and just a few on both Tuesday and Wednesday bodes well for my studies to the final exam in Math on Thursday. Really, it’s kind of dumb to put our final, and arguably, biggest exam the day before school’s out. But that’s just the way it is, and obviously there’s really no use complaining.

I’ve watched a whole bunch of films the last couple of weeks, but my schedule has unfortunately prevented me from writing any reviews. Will try to change that during the holiday, and catch up on some films I saw earlier in late October/early November, but also a few more recent ones (as Body of Lies, which I saw yesterday).

Been experimenting with some new stuff for the website. I’ve always wanted to do some sort of video blog, and I’ve tried out a few different methods of how to make this work. While you won’t be seeing any video blog posts anytime soon, it might be something I’ll try to incorporate next year as Campsite is further into post-production.

Talk to you guys and girls more later this week, take care!

As I wrote last week, here are the first 4 images from Campsite! These are not those old-fashioned behind-the-scenes photos, but brand new ones taken directly from the film! Check them out on the film’s page right now!

Stay tuned later this week for a longer news post!

Here are the last 4 behind-the-scenes photos featuring the production of “Campsite”, shot last weekend by Fredrik, when the last two scenes for the film were shot. Check out the images below!

Oh, and by the way, Monday the 8th, at 18:00 GMT +1 marks the day when I will post the first pictures from the completed film – so behind-the-scenes photos are over and done with from now on! ;)
