Well, despite me still being a bit sick and tired, filming continued today on “Campsite”, with two more scenes being shot! Been browsing through the shots I managed to get, and they’re looking cool! As always, here are pictures from yesterday’s shoot! Note that these aren’t from the actual film, but cool behind-the-scenes photographs taken by Fredrik Steffen of Steffen Photography!
Hey everyone, writing from my bed as I’m currently at home, sick. I never realised it was possible to miss school as much as I’ve done today. Or well, I probably havn’t missed school that much, it’s more likely that the lack of friends and other people just makes everything a bit more boring. Add to that, that I pretty much have lost my voice due to my cold, and it’s been a pretty drawn-out day.
Although big news today, I finally managed to sell my Canon XL1s! I hardly ever used it after I got the Sony FX1, and it feels good to get rid of it before it decreases too much in value. Sold it to two guys who were very enthusiastic with filmmaking, preferably Afghan music-videos! Best of luck to them, I’m sure they’ll really like the camera once they dive into all the manual controls!
Also continued to work on “Campsite” today. All scenes shot up until now graded and letterboxed for 2.35:1, going on to try start creating some music for them as I write this. Hopefully if my cold goes away slightly I should be able to film another two scenes this weekend! Stay tuned, and take care!
Been working on editing the 3 scenes we shot for “Campsite” during the weekend. I think I have the edit pretty much locked down for them, so I’ve started working on some colour grading for them. It’s really a fun project, as school pretty much forces me to shoot scenes during weekends and then edit them and perform post-production stuff during normal work days. It’s a lot of work, but it’s a lot of fun!
Stay tuned for more news as production moves on!
As promised earlier today, here are four behind-the-scenes pictures from the yesterday’s shoot of “Campsite”. Two scenes were shot, one taking place in a bedroom, and another one in a kitchen. I’ve started to edit the two scenes, and it’s looking pretty good so far! But without further ado, here are the pics!
All pictures are by Fredrik Steffen of Steffen Photography, check out his website! I also added the photos to the film’s page!
Some may have seen the picture I put up of Campsite exactly a day ago. Well, to keep the film a bit more secret I decided to take down the picture. Don’t fear though, more pictures are coming later today as I wrote yesterday – so you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look on the film! Stay tuned!
