You’ve got that right, had my final lesson in school today! Technically my 2nd high school year doesn’t finish until next Wednesday (when I’ll get grades and such), but no more lessons until then – which feels amazing. It’s been a tough two terms with loads of tests and exams and loads of homework, glad it’s finally over with.
Havn’t really been doing much the last two weeks that’s very interesting. Got myself a standalone Blu-Ray player so I can watch HighDef movies at home, which is cool. Been thinking about my Halloween project, and I should probably have finalized the story by the end of next week. It’s not a very long or complex film, and I should be able to film it reasonably quickly, as I won’t be available for a few weeks in the beginning of July since I will be working on the FXhome film project!
You read that right
I will be working as camera assistant on the scifi-film directed by Ashley Wing (who did “Between the Lines”, a film I helped out with the colour grading on). Should be a lot of fun and a very cool week to hopefully learn loads of new techniques and gain new contacts and friends!
I will be leaving for Gothenburg this Sunday with a few friends. Should be fun – been doing it pretty much every time summer break starts, and it’s a very nice introduction to the relaxation that lies ahead. Yeah, I get relaxed by being halfway scared to death in various rollercoasters – don’t analyze me
.
I got Rock Band for Xbox 360 a week ago, so I’ve been playing that like crazy. It’s loads of fun, still trying to master the drums – just came back from beating the solo tour. If you see me online, send me a game invite and I’ll be glad to challenge you, as long as there’s no singing involved.
With the end of this year at school and the beginning of summer break, I will start to move away from the larger, not-so-frequent news posts and into smaller news post that arrive more often. I will have loads of more time to write here, so stay tuned the following days and weeks!
Until next time, take care everyone!
